Customer Reviews of 'Mike Lukas - Fun Bunch of Guys'

'I loved it, here's why' - by ChadBroChill79

The comedic energy this guy has harnessed works brilliantly to engage a non-live audience; awesome
characterizations with completely uninhibited delivery. Seems like every review I read says something like 'this is
the funniest album I've ever heard,' and if that's what you're looking for in advice on whether to purchase an
album, well, I'm not going to say it. I will say that after listening to the entire 63+ minutes all I wanted was more
and I went to hunt for some tour dates. If you're someone who purchases a lot of comedy albums through itunes
(as I am) then easily add this to the collection. If you don't buy a lot of comedy, be dangerous; take the leap and
click 'Purchase' anyway (even if it's between -like- buying this album or putting ten bucks towards tuition.
Comedy is education). Can't believe it took so long...

Roughly 10 years ago, possibly longer, a friend of mine came to me with a burned CD and told me "you HAVE to
hear this guy, he's hillarious." We listened, enjoyed, and laughed for hours, and then at some point he lost the CD.

Today, I decided to check iTunes and discovered that he'd released a new album within the last few years. Most
of my favorite bits are on here, "The Comic's Job", "Bed Seduction", "My Alarm Clock", "the NSSSSSSSA"
(though missing a few S's from the old album ;) ), plus a host of new, interesting bits. I've never forgotten Mike
Lukas, and now I'm glad that I get to hear some of my favorite items from that old CD again. Several of his bits
have become part of inside jokes with friends of mine, such as the talking alarm clock and the seductive bed, and
there's nothing better than getting to share those jokes with new friends by saying "Check THIS out" and hitting
the play button. I can't wait to hear more.
